Asakusa, one of Tokyo’s most traditional neighborhoods. Here, we’ll visit the iconic Sensō-ji Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in the city, known for its impressive architecture and vibrant spiritual atmosphere. We’ll pass through the Kaminarimon Gate, decorated with its massive red lantern, and walk down Nakamise Street, a lively shopping street filled with craft shops, traditional sweets, and Japanese souvenirs. This neighborhood is perfect for immersing yourself in ancient Tokyo and experiencing its customs and traditions.
The tour continues in Akihabara, the vibrant hub of electronics and otaku culture in Tokyo. Here, you’ll find stores filled with everything from the latest gadgets to manga, anime, and gaming merchandise. During our visit, you’ll have the option to explore one of Akihabara’s iconic buildings. Choose between Bic Camera, known for its extensive collection of new electronics; Soft Map, offering both new and used electronic items; Don Quijote, a multi-floor discount store that sells everything from souvenirs to snacks; Gigo 1 (formerly Sega), an arcade landmark with its iconic red facade; or Radio Kaikan, a building filled with stores specializing in anime figures, collectibles, and electronics.
After recharging, we’ll visit Meiji Jingū Temple, a serene spiritual haven in the heart of the city.
